1. How do I make sure that I am earning cash back?
Purchases you make at Aisle 19 stores are only credited if you start shopping at Aisle 19 and click to the stores from Aisle 19. As much as we'd like to give you cash back even if you do not start at Aisle 19, the stores do not allow us to if you do not click through Aisle 19 prior to entering the merchant site. If you click through Aisle 19 and make a purchase, then surf elsewhere on the Web and return to that store (without going through Aisle 19) and make a second purchase, your second purchase cannot be tracked from Aisle 19 and therefore you cannot earn Cash Back. You must click through Aisle 19 every time you shop at a store's site. If you use multiple windows on your browser, the window in which you shop at the merchant must have been originated at Aisle 19. Also, while virtually all product purchases at the merchants are eligible for Cash Back, there are a limited number of products that do not qualify for Cash Back.
2. How does Aisle 19 track my purchases so that I get cash back on what I buy?
Cookies are used to track transactions so you will want to make sure your internet browser is set to accept cookies. Most browsers are set by default to accept cookies. But double check your settings to be sure. If you choose not allow cookies to be accepted your transactions will most likely not be tracked. The most common reason for a transaction not being tracked is due to a user's computer settings. If you set your settings too high, delete cookies, or have anti-virus software that automatically deletes cookies, this can affect tracking of your purchases. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO OUR SPECIAL INCENTIVE STORES. Purchases from our special incentive stores are not cookie dependent.
3. What are cookies?
Cookies are simply text files that allow a website to recognize you when you return. This means you don't have to log-in again and again. Cookies used by Aisle 19 and our network of stores are completely safe and they are enabled by default with most browsers.
4. Do all purchases qualify for cash back?
Virtually every item you purchase through Aisle 19 qualifies for cash back. We cannot, however, give cash back for taxes, shipping, or any portion of a purchase that is paid for with non-Aisle 19 provided coupons, gift certificates or a store credit. Any purchase of products and services in which the transaction is substantially completed by telephone does not qualify for a cash back. In addition, a few cases where merchants have specifically noted that they will not pay cash back are listed in the Store Details page which can be viewed by clicking the “i” that appears next to the store name.
5. Can I use special offers and coupons and still earn cash back with Aisle 19?
We provide you with specials and coupons that you can combine with cash back to maximize your savings. You can find those special deals in the Daily Deals section on the main page. If you choose to use coupons and specials that are not listed on Aisle 19, we cannot guarantee that you will be eligible to receive cash back on those purchases. Furthermore, please be advised that coupons and special offers listed on Aisle 19 are subject to change. Restrictions may apply. Aisle 19 tries to present the most accurate offers but cannot make guarantees due to the time-sensitive nature of these promotions.
6. Can I get cash back on purchases that I call in?
Changing or placing orders over the phone will lose your commission status for that purchase. Cancel the order in question and go back through Aisle 19 and re-order if you desire cash back. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO THE SPECIAL INCENTIVE STORES.
7. How do I make sure I'm saving as much as possible?
One way is to shop from the stores that offer the highest cash back incentives. Simply click on the ALL STORES tab in Aisle 19 and then select the Cash Back pull down. Aisle 19 will then show you which stores offer the highest cash back incentives from highest to lowest. Another way is to always start by checking out the Daily Deals on the main page. Aisle 19 does all the work for you by searching all the specials, deals and coupons that stores are currently offering. This saves you the time of clicking from store to store to find what deals are available. Many times these deals are not available when shopping from the stores directly so by coming through Aisle 19 you get discounts that are often not available to the general public. You can also word search for items in the daily deal section to see if what you are looking for happens to be on sale. Just another benefit for checking out at Aisle 19.
8. How soon will I see my transactions show up in My Account Activity?
On or around the 20th of every month, purchases made from standard stores through your Aisle 19 account from the previous month will appear in your Aisle 19 Account Activity report. Standard stores takes 30 days or more to report your purchases to us. However, purchases made from our Special Incentive stores will appear immediately in your Account Activity.
9. How soon will I receive my Cash Back?
On or around the 20th of every month, your cash back check from the previous month’s purchases will be cut and mailed to you.
10. What if my purchases do not show up in my account activity?
If this happens your cookie setting may not be set correctly so please be sure to accept cookies. If for some reason you do not see a purchase show up in your account activity, simply use the CONTACT US feature and tell us that you are missing a transaction that you believe you made through Aisle 19. You MUST supply the following information to us so that we can contact the store on your behalf: store Name, purchase date, purchase amount (excluding taxes and shipping), product(s) purchased, and order ID #. If you do not provide us this information we will not be able to help you find a potentially missing transaction.
11. Should I keep records of my purchases?
Yes. Just in case any tracking issues, however unlikely, arise you must supply the following information: store name, purchase date, purchase amount (excluding taxes and shipping), product(s) purchased, and order ID #.
12. What are special incentive stores?
Some of the stores in Aisle 19 are not as well known as others. These lesser known stores want your business and have partnered with Aisle 19 to become what we call a “Special Incentive” store. These stores don’t want you to wait to receive a cash back check in the mail. They apply their cash back to you INSTANTLY to reduce the price you pay for their products at check out! Not only that, they are among the most aggressive Aisle 19 stores in how much cash back they give you. Some of the Special Incentive stores give as much as 20% cash back and give it to you now! 13. What does INSTANT cash back mean?
Aisle 19 has several stores that have positioned themselves as Special Incentive Stores. What that means is those stores want your business. So much so that they have agreed to not only offer you very high cash back incentives, they also must give you the cash back now by taking the amount of cash back right off the purchase price - INSTANTLY. No waiting - just lower prices now with the Aisle 19 Special Incentive Stores.
14. How do I find a particular store?
Click on the All Stores tab. You can view all the stores that are available in Aisle 19. To view stores by Category, by Name, or by Cash Back amount, use the drop down menu. It is defaulted to view all stores by category.
15. How do I find a particular deal?
On the main page of Aisle 19 (the first tab) you will see a small area in the upper left corner titled Find Deals. Type the name of the item you are looking for a deal on (i.e. golf club) then click the GO button. A list will appear with all the stores that currently have a deal on your item. For more information on the deal click on the blue “i” button. To go to the merchant’s page with the deal click on Buy Now.
16. What if Aisle 19 doesn’t have a store I want?
If you would like to recommend a store, simply let us know that using the Contact Us form. We will do everything possible to add your store. Keep in mind that not every store pays commissions for online purchases.
17. What costs are associated with shopping at Aisle 19?
None. There are no additional fees, no setup fees, and no activation fees. There are no inflated prices on shipping or product sales. Product prices and shipping costs through Aisle 19 are the same at the merchant’s web site and sometime even lower with our Daily Deal specials.
18. What if a link is not working?
Given the number of Aisle 19 stores occasionally a link may go bad. If you find a bad link, let us know what link it is by telling us with the Contact Us function.
19. What if I want to return or cancel an order?
Returns are subject to the return policy of the stores where you made the purchase. If you return or cancel an item, we have to reverse any cash back earned from that sale. Returns (also deemed as exchanges) make Cash Back ineligible. In the process of an exchange, the merchant cancels the old order and replaces it with a new one. When doing this, the Aisle 19 commission gets reversed and a new commission is not established because the merchant has created the new order (thus meaning the order was not completed through Aisle 19 – but placed through the merchant directly). Because of this, the merchant will not pay us the commission, which means we have no cash back to pass on to you. To avoid losing the cash back on future transactions, please make sure all returns are final and that it is not an exchange. Have the merchant refund your credit card, and then re-place the order through us to receive the cash back.
20. What is the shipping policy?
Shipping policies and shipping costs through Aisle 19 are the same at the retailer’s web site. Because you will be shopping on the retailer’s site you will have to check their shipping policies.
21. How safe is my credit card info, and are my transactions secure?
100% secure. When you check out at any of our merchants, you are on the safest possible connection, a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Credit card security is of the utmost importance to us.
22. Where do I go if I have questions that are not answered in the FAQ about Aisle 19?
Use the "Contact Us” link for all questions, technical or link issues associated with Aisle 19.
23. Will I start receiving “spam” if I join?
No. We will not sell your information to any third party. We do send our own members information related to Aisle 19 from time to time but you may unsubscribe from our email lists at any time.
24. Can I use Aisle 19 if I live outside the U.S. and Canada?
Yes, as long as the merchant you are purchasing from will ship outside of the U.S. and Canada. All cash back checks are paid in U.S. dollars.
25. Can I use alternative payment methods while shopping through Aisle 19 (Google Checkout/Paypal)?
We do not recommend using alternative payment methods during checkout, since we cannot ensure that cash-back will be earned if Google Checkout or Paypal is used as the method of payment for your purchase.
26. Can I use MSN Passport at Aisle 19?
No, you may not use MSN Passport while shopping through Aisle 19.
27. Will I get paid by referring this to others?
No, unless you decide to take advantage of the free Escape International Inc. Business Opportunity where you can get paid for passing the Secret of Aisle19 to others. If you are interested please indicate your interest by utilizing the Contact Us feature, and we will have someone from Escape get back with you right away.
